Delete your Kalmo account
This page is for the Kalmo app (app.getkalmo) by developer Fuad Aliyev. It explains how to delete your account and all data, in the app or without it.
Delete in the app
- Open Kalmo and sign in.
- Go to “Profile”, then “Data and consents”.
- Tap “Delete account”.
- Tick “I understand: this can’t be undone” and tap “Delete account”.
Before deleting you can download your data with “Download my data”. You can delete the account only online. The account is deleted at once.
Delete without the app
Write to the address below with the subject “Delete my Kalmo account”. We need to confirm the account is yours:
- Signed in with email: write from the address your sign-in codes go to.
- Signed in with Google or Apple: say that you sign in with Google or Apple and give the email of that account; we will reply and ask you to confirm the account is yours.
Delete only your health data
To keep the account but erase your health data: “Profile”, “Data and consents”, withdraw the health data consent and tap “Delete now”. Weight, measurements, workouts, food, supplements, photos and the questionnaire are deleted at once; the account, sign-in methods, devices and reminders stay.
What is deleted
Everything: profile and questionnaire, weight and measurements, workouts, food diary, food photos and progress photos, supplements, settings, sign-in methods and devices. We sign you out everywhere and revoke sign-in tokens. The account cannot be restored.
What stays, and for how long
Encrypted database backups are kept up to 30 days and then deleted. If a backup has to be restored, deleted accounts are deleted from it again. For that we keep only the ID of the deleted account, with no personal data; such ID lists are kept indefinitely. The services we use (for example Sentry and Resend) keep their own logs for their own retention periods.
How long to wait
We answer deletion emails within 30 days.
