Talk to a specialist
If food, weight or eating feels hard right now, you deserve support from a person, not an app. A doctor or a registered dietitian is a good first step: ask your family doctor for a referral. A helpline can listen today. Kalmo is not medical advice and does not replace them.
Common questions
How is my calorie target set?
We estimate how much energy you use from your height, weight, age and activity, then set a target for your goal at a gentle pace. It is an estimate, and it never goes below a safety floor.
What happens at the weekly check-in?
Once a week Kalmo compares what you ate with how your weight trend moved and suggests a target for the next week. It usually changes by no more than 150 kcal, and you can accept it or adjust it yourself. A week with too little data doesn’t change it.
How do I download or delete my data?
In the app: Profile, then Data and consents, then “Download my data” or “Delete account”. Deleting an account removes your data and photos right away and cannot be undone. Encrypted backups are kept for up to 30 days.
I can’t sign in
Kalmo has no passwords: you sign in with Apple, Google or a code sent to your email. If the code doesn’t arrive, check Spam and try again. If you lost access to your email, sign in with the Apple or Google account linked to Kalmo, or write to us.
